A man killed his wife by setting the house ablaze in Onitsha, 3–3 Oze.

According to sources, the man in question (whose name has not been released yet) had a misunderstanding with his wife, and after lots of arguments and resolutions, the wife went inside to sleep, but unfortunately, the man, out of his grievance and unrepenting vengeance, set the house on fire without leaving an escape route for the woman.
