Olisa Mbakwe, director of documentation and strategy of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has reiterated that the leader of the group, Kanu, has been sacked as the leader, due to negligence.

Mbakwe said Kanu was fired because he put more value on his dog than those murdered in the struggle for the realization of Biafra.
Speaking during Sunday's broadcast from his base in Israel, Kanu mourned his dog, Jack and family members who lost their lives when military men invaded the place in 2017.
