The race to the governor's seat in Lagos state has become competitive of recent as prominent politicians have obtained forms for the Alausa seat.
Though, rumours have been spreading around that the Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu oppose the second term ambition of the incumbent governor Akinwumi Ambode but seem all has been settled when Ambode collected his form in Abuja on Monday.
However, one of the political grandson of Tinubu, Babajide Sanwoolu obtained his own form yesterday, though this ought not to have been the reason for the competition but Sanwoolu being backed by the Mandate Group which is a strong political structure of Tinubu now paves way for the competition. It is to be noted that the mandate group has the presence of the 57 chairmen who are directly responsible to mobilize their people for the direct primary election.
Surprisingly, the Business guru, Femi Otedola has accepted the People Democratic Party form to contest for the post Lagos state governor. Which means that Otedola is the race will give the ruling party a tough competition in the forthcoming general election.
