Former Vice President of Nigeria Atiku Abubakar who is also aspiring to contest for the post of the president in the forthcoming general election next year under the platform of People Democratic Party (PDP) has indirectly replied the presidency  today via his twitter handle.

It is to be noted that since yesterday that President Buhari trekked for over 800 metres, his aides and supporters have been reaffirming it through various channels that Buhari is healthy capable to contest in 2019..

Atiku tweets "I regularly jog more than a mile & exercise, but it will be pedestrian of me to ask Nigerians to vote for me because of that. I want my party - the PDP, and Nigerians, to vote for me because I WORK not because I WALK. I will work to create jobs. I won’t walk to create an illusion".

This tweet from the erstwhile vice president can not be separated from the statement being spread by Buhari's aides that Buhari trekked 800 metres yesterday from the prayer ground to his residence and this has showed that Buhari is physically capable to contest for second term because he is not too old to trek.

But with the indirect reply from Atiku, it shows that to be the president is not only to be " walking " but the ability to "work".
