Goalkeeper Adewale Adeyinka will remain with Nigeria's Professional Football League side, Kwara United.

The Daily Post scooped that the Harmony Boys hierarchy had extended the goalkeeper’s contract.

Both parties failed to agree on a deal after the initial expiration of his contract last month.

Adeyinka turned down offers from Ethiopia's Ethiopia Coffee last week.

The Kwara United goalie suffered a foot injury towards the end of last season, which kept him out for five weeks.

He recorded five clean sheets in the 2022–23 campaign.
