Nigeria defender Ola Aina has expressed his strong desire to remain at Nottingham Forest beyond his current contract, which is set to expire in five months.

The 28-year-old has become an integral part of the squad, and manager Nuno Espírito Santo is optimistic about securing his future at the club.

“I hope so. I really enjoy it here—I enjoy the staff, the players, the club, and the community. Everything about it is great, so hopefully,” Aina told Sky Sports.

Aina initially joined Forest on a free transfer two years ago, and the club activated a one-year contract extension last summer. Now, with his future once again up for discussion, fans are eager to see the Nigerian international commit to a long-term deal.
