Javier Tebas has hit out at Paris Saint-Germain over the mouthwatering deal offered to Kylian Mbappe, which has seen the player snub a move to Real Madrid.
Tebas claimed PSG recorded losses of over €700 million in recent seasons and had a wage bill of over €600 million.
He labelled the Ligue 1 side “an insult to football”.
“What PSG is doing by renewing Mbappé with a large sum after giving losses of €700m in recent seasons and having more than €600m in salary bills is an insult to football."
“They’re as dangerous as the Super League,” Tebas said.
Mbappe’s deal was meant to expire in June this year, and some observers expected him to sign for Madrid as a free agent.
