Rivers United manager Stanley Eguma has revealed that their clash against Bayelsa United will be difficult.
Eguma opined that the Pride of Rivers' lack of adequate preparation for their matchday 17 tie might affect the team’s performance.
He stressed, however, that his players know the importance of the game and are ready to give it their all.
“It’s difficult, as we had just a day to prepare for the game,” he told the club’s media.
“It’s a South-South derby; we know what to expect from them and how we can also play.
“It’s important we bounce back to winning ways after the defeat to Enyimba in the Federation Cup.”
Rivers United will host Bayelsa United today at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
