Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard is ready to move to Chelsea if the Blues make a suitable offer to his current club, according to Bild.
Thomas Tuchel’s Blues are looking to sign at least one more central defender this summer to replace Andreas Christensen and Antonio Rudiger, who both left the club for Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively this summer.
The west London side have already brought in Koulibaly from Napoli but missed out on Sevilla’s Jules Kounde, who is Barcelona-bound.
BILD reports that Pavard is keen on linking up with his former boss, Thomas Tuchel, if Chelsea stumps up a suitable offer.
Chelsea had identified two players to sign as Kounde’s alternatives, and they are Dayot Upamecano and Benjamin Pavard, both Bayern Munich stars.
Tuchel is insisting that the club needs to sign another defender.
