According to reports, Wilfred Ndidi avoided a serious injury after departing early from Nigeria's international duty.
Last Wednesday, Ndidi was freed from the Nigerian detention facility in Constantine, Algeria.

Ndidi was diagnosed with a hamstring ailment by Leicester City's fitness staff after the team's 6-2 loss to Tottenham just before the break.
After two training sessions with the Super Eagles, the 25-year-old was permitted to return to England.
Oluwashina Okeleji, a BBC Sport reporter, disclosed that Ndidi has a grade one hamstring tear.
The midfielder should be able to play in Monday, October 3's Premier League match between Leicester City and Nottingham Forest.
Since they have yet to win in the English Premier League this year, the Foxes are stuck at the bottom of the standings.
