Bayer Leverkusen winger, Nathan Tella, has reflected on Die Werkself’s 0-0 draw against Bayern Munich.
The title holders failed to make their dominance count, earning just one point from the encounter.
Xabi Alonso’s side hit the woodwork twice and also missed a number of good chances.
Leverkusen also missed the chance to reduce Bayern’s lead at the top of the log with the result.
Despite the outcome of the game, Tella said they can be proud of their performance.
“It’s frustrating not to get the three points. But as a team, we can be proud of how we played. I think we were the best team.
“If we had scored a goal, we would have underlined our dominance. Unfortunately, some games are like that, you don’t manage to score,” the Nigeria international told the club’s official website.
