Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur were all eliminated from the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

The Gunners lost 3-1 to Brighton despite taking the lead through Eddie Nketiah.

The visitors fought back to win, thanks to goals from Danny Welbeck, Mitoma, and Lamptey.

Chelsea lost 2-0 to Manchester City at the Etihad.

Riyad Mahrez put the Premier League champions in front with a fine free-kick, before Julian Alvarez pounced on a rebound to double their lead.

Tottenham Hotspur suffered a shock exit at Nottingham Forest, losing 2-0 at the City Ground.

Ronan Lodi and Jesse Lingard got the goals for the hosts.
