Though different players and coaches do have different opinions when it comes to selecting the best 11 in the premier League history, however, the former England striker, Michael Owen, has named Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry in his all-time greatest Premier League XI.

Owen made 326 appearances in the Premier League and scored 150 goals, which puts him 10th on the all-time list of Premier League goalscorers.

He played for Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Stoke City during his time in England and opted for a 4-3-3 formation when it came to picking his best ever XI in the Premier League.

Speaking to Give Me Sport, Owen put Red Devils hero, Peter Schmeichel in goal.

He said, “The Great Dane” was behind an all-English back four of Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, John Terry, and Ashley Cole.

Owen then selected Aston Villa manager Steven Gerrard in his midfield, alongside legendary Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira and Man United star Paul Scholes.

The Premier League’s all-time record goalscorer, Alan Shearer, leads a formidable frontline, which also includes Henry and Cristiano Ronaldo.
