Ruud Gullit, a former Chelsea player and manager, has advised Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech to sign with Barcelona.
The World Cup star, in Gullit's opinion, would be the ideal addition to Barcelona.
Since his £34 million transfer from Ajax to the Blues in 2020, the 29-year-old Moroccan international has had trouble securing his position in the starting lineup.
With the Blues, he has won three trophies altogether, including the Club World Cup and the Champions League.
This season, under Graham Potter, he has only made five starts for the Blues in all competitions.
Morocco would drop further down the rankings by the time the Blues fully introduced their new acquisitions, such as Joao Felix and Mykhailo Mudryk.
Speaking to Ziggo Sport, Gullit feels the winger should leave for Barcelona.
“The way Ziyech plays for Morocco, I’ve never seen him play for Chelsea."
“I wonder… I think he comes into his own in Spain. I have the impression that he has never reached the level of Ajax in England. I would really like to see him in Spain in the future. He can reach his top level there. He would also fit well in that Barcelona team.”
