Two football giants set to light the stage as Atletico Madrid seeks to advance to the quarter final of the UEFA champions league with a tie against Juventus.

The Spanish club under Diego Simeone are unbeaten by the Italian sides in the champions league and will hope for that to reflect against Seria A leaders on Thursday's champions league tie.

Atletico Madrid returned to winning ways by defeating Rayo Vallecano away from home to boost their spirit into the champions league tie, after loosing their last two games to real madrid and real betis.

Juventus, the visiting team has won six of their last eight matches, with a three goal margin in the previous two games.

Both teams are known for their impeccable defensive structure, which is evidenced by the fact that no team has conceded fewer goals than them in their respective leagues. Juventus have conceded just 15 goals in 23 league games while Atletico have conceded 17 from 24 matches.

In the group stages of the champions league, Diego Simeone's men have conceded six goals, four of them coming from a game against the German Borussia Dortmund.

Massimiliano Allegri's side have conceded four goals and maintained the same number of clean sheets in Europe this season.
