This summer, Tottenham Hotspur is in negotiations with Udinese to sign the Nigerian defender Destiny Udogie, who was born in Italy.
After a standout first season with the Serie A team, the 19-year-old gained notoriety in the previous campaign.
In 35 league games for Udinese, Udogie scored five goals and contributed three assists, showcasing his offensive and defensive prowess.
According to Sky Sports, Udogie is being pursued by Spurs, who are prepared to pay Udinese about €25 million for him, plus add-ons.
To allow the full back to continue improving in Italy's top division, Antonio Conte is also willing to let him stay in Italy for another season.
Up until 2026, Udogie has a contract with Udinese.
