Liverpool midfielder Alexis MacAllister hailed Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez following his performance during both teams’ 1-1 Premier League draw on Sunday.

Mac Allister described Fernandez as a great player, adding that he is happy for his fellow Argentina compatriot.

“I have already faced him [Fernandez] several times,” Mac Allister told Paramount Plus.
“I have played with him; he is a great player. I respect him a lot. I have a great relationship. Today, he showed why they paid what they paid for him, why he is here, and it makes me happy for him, obviously.”

Mac Allister joined Liverpool from Brighton this summer.
