Former Manchester United vice-captain Patrice Evra has identified Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez as the two Red Devils players that have impressed him the most this season.
Casemiro and Martinez have guided Man United to 5th place on the English Premier League table with just under half of the season gone.
The pair joined Manchester United last summer from Real Madrid and Ajax, respectively.
Speaking to Betfair, Evra noted that both South Americans have been vital for Erik ten Hag’s side because of their passion and hunger.
The Frenchman said, “Casemiro has had a massive impact; he’s one of the best midfielders in the world right now." You can see that that is the DNA that the United fans want to see. "He wants discipline, and I love that. That is how you’re going to go far.”
