Genk chief Dimitri Conde has confirmed that a number of clubs have expressed interest in signing Super Eagles star Paul Onuachu.
Genk face a big fight to keep hold of their star striker when the transfer window reopens next month.
Onuachu has been the club’s top scorer for the past two seasons.
The 28-year-old scored 33 goals in 38 league games in the 2020–21 season.
Last season, he struggled with injuries but still hit 21 goals in 35 games.
The big striker has already scored 13 goals in 14 appearances for the Smurfs this term.
“There is interest in Onuachu here and there; I won’t deny that,” Conde was quoted by Tipsbladet.
“But no one is eager to switch." We have something beautiful going on and want to finish it. "We don’t want to let anyone go this winter either.”
Onuachu has been linked with Premier League and La Liga clubs in the past.
