The 65 year old German has not returned to Nigeria since the departure of the Super Eagle in early June for the friendly match against England. And from the early exit of the Nigeria's team in Russia, the German coach has been with his family over there.

However, Rohr said despite not be in the country which he is coaching the national team, he is monitoring Nigerian players both home and abroad from various channels, by visiting the European based players in their clubs and observing the local based players from different channels.

Rohr returning back to the country is for him to make proper preparation for the AFCON qualifier match between the Super eagle of Nigeria and Seychelles on September 8,2018 And it is expected that the name of the 23 players that will be called for the match will be made public later this week.
