Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that the media offered him to Sporting Lisbon and Napoli in the summer.

According to Ronaldo, he didn’t have many clubs trying to sign him, but he received many offers.

The 37-year-old was desperate to leave United to play in the Champions League this season.

However, he ended up staying at Old Trafford, and he insists he was “happy” to remain with the Premier League club.

“They [the media] even offered me a trip to Sporting [Lisbon] or Napoli." I will be honest with you, I didn’t have many, many clubs but I have many, many offers of the other clubs.

“And I was happy here [at United], to be honest." I was motivated to have a great season here. "But they continue to repeat that nobody wants Cristiano,” Ronaldo said on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
