Former Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo has tipped Morocco to stun Portugal when both teams meet in the 2022 World Cup quarterfinal on Saturday.

Morocco became the second African team to finish top of their group at the World Cup.

Each of the previous three African countries to reach the quarterfinals—Cameroon (1990), Senegal (2002), and Ghana (2010)—were all eliminated in the last eight.

"Morocco is all the best, but as an African, I hope the best side wins.”
