Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has congratulated Enyimba International Football Club of Aba for qualifying for the Nigeria Professional Football League, NFPL, Super Six competition.
The Governor has, therefore, charged the team to complete the performance by defeating the other five teams in the competition and emerge the champions.
Ikpeazu gave the commendation in a message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Onyebuchi Ememanka.
He described Enyimba as the pride of Abia State and Nigeria and urged them to do the state proud once again by beating their final opponents.
Enyimba qualified for the Super Six competition after finishing third in the Group A NPFL table with 32 points behind Bendel Insurance and Remo Stars, who finished with 34 points and 33 points, respectively.
In the Group B table, Rivers United, Lobi Stars, and Sunshine also qualified to compete for the Super Six trophy.
The six teams will face one another in a league format where the team with the most points will be crowned the winners.
