Former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has played down the quality of Cristiano Ronaldo’s goals for Real Madrid.
Aguero, a former Premier League star, believed one or two players had scored better goals than the Portugal legend.
Ronaldo is Real Madrid’s all-time top scorer, with 450 goals in 438 games, helping the capital city club win four Champions League trophies and two La Liga trophies, among other honors.
Ronaldo scored some sensational goals for the club, including solo runs, counter-attacking goals, long rangers, and more.
The 38-year-old Portugal captain, who has won everything in football except the World Cup, even scored an overhead kick against Juventus in the Champions League.
But Aguero, who left Manchester City for Barcelona two seasons ago and was forced to retire due to health issues, believed Karim Benzema and Raul’s goals for Real Madrid were better.
“Raul and Benzema have scored better goals for Madrid than Cristiano Ronaldo,” he said, according to The Madrid Zone.
