Real Madrid's right back Dani Carvajal has disclosed what the team's veterans had to say about Jude Bellingham, who joined in the summer.
Since moving from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid during the summer transfer window, Bellingham has performed admirably for the La Liga giants.
This season, the England international has five goals to his credit for Real Madrid.
The 20-year-old has adjusted brilliantly and is already starting in place of experienced players Toni Kroos and Luka Modric for Carlo Ancelotti's team.
In an interview with Merengues and Argentina legend Jorge Valdano for the documentary series Universo Valdano, Carvajal discussed Bellingham and was quoted by GOAL as saying:
“We don’t want to deify him [Bellingham] too much because the bar is set too high.
“From the first moment when he started training, we looked at each other in pre-season, the veterans... and we said: ‘Phew, he knows what he’s doing!’ You don’t see that he’s very fast; technically, he’s crazy.
“It is just that he is very complete; he is a finisher. You give him the ball, and from the third week on, he’s understood everyone just by watching. He is very intelligent.”
