Senior officials at Manchester United have expressed apprehension about the potential clash between Thomas Tuchel and the club's leadership if he is appointed to replace Erik ten Hag.
Tuchel, who will depart Bayern Munich at the end of the season, has emerged as a candidate for the managerial position at United, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS considering Ten Hag's future and exploring alternative options.
Despite Tuchel's successful stint at Chelsea in the Premier League, concerns have been raised about his history of disagreements with higher-ups at previous clubs.
During his time at Mainz, Tuchel's departure in 2014 stemmed from a dispute over transfer funds with directors. Similarly, he was let go by Borussia Dortmund in 2017 due to a breakdown in trust between him and the club's board.
