Facundo Pellistri, a young player for Manchester United, has made it clear to coach Erik ten Hag that he wants to contribute to the team this year.
On Sunday, Pellistri saw action in a Premier League game for Man United, which Ten Hag's team lost 6-3 to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
Pep Guardiola's team defeated Manchester United with a victory thanks to hat-tricks from Erling Haaland and Phil Foden.
The Red Devils did score thanks to Antony and Anthony Martial.
However, Pellistri, 20, did not get a start against Man City.
“Now Manchester will have an important string of games, so I also hope to get some minutes at the club,” Pellistri told ESPN Argentina.
Erik ten Hag is a good coach with a very clear idea; I really want to start participating in the team.
“I already feel good. I’m not 100 percent yet because these injuries take time. But I am still very happy with how I felt. "
