After hiring a new manager for their organizations recently, Manchester United and Chelsea are both looking to strengthen their recruitment departments.

Both Premier League clubs have invested significant sums in players who haven't necessarily been successful thus far, so hiring someone to effectively manage their recruitment could end up saving them a ton of money in the long run.

Both Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in hiring Wolves' head of recruitment Hobbs, according to Football Insider.

According to the report, a deal could be reached in the coming weeks, and both clubs plan to compete to sign him.

The director of scouting and recruitment at Wolves, whose interest in joining Chelsea or Manchester United is unknown.

As both managers frequently seek out young, exciting players to add to their management teams, working with Graham Potter or Erik ten Hag could be an exciting opportunity for Hobbs.
