The message Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe sent to Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, to confirm his decision to snub the Los Blancos and sign a new deal with the French Ligue 1 champions has been revealed.

Mbappe’s decision to sign a new contract at PSG and turn down Real Madrid in the process has caused shockwaves in the football world.

Many expected, including Perez, that the French World Cup winner would join Real Madrid this summer, but instead, he will remain at the Parc des Princes.

As revealed by El Chiringuito host, Josep Pedrerol, this is the message that Mbappe sent to Perez to confirm that he is staying with the Parisians.

Mbappe's message began: "Mr Florentino Perez, I am informing you that I have decided to stay at PSG."

“I want to thank you for the opportunity you have given me to play for Real Madrid, the club I have been a fan of since I was a child.

I hope you will be understanding of my decision.
