Mike Dean will be part of the new Soccer Saturday program on Sky Sports after he decided to step down from his position as a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) official.
The 55-year-old was only appointed to handle VAR duties at the start of last season.
But 22 of the 28 years he spent officiating top-flight fixtures in England
This new role will see Dean offer in-depth analysis and insight on the biggest decisions made up and down the country every Saturday.
It is a similar role to that of his ex-colleague Peter Walton on the newly branded TNT Sports.
During last year’s World Cup, Dean had his own slot on beIN Sports entitled The Dean Machine, which proved to be a hit.
