Mason Mount will receive a massive pay raise after the Todd Boehly group completes its acquisition of Chelsea, according to SportMail.
The 23-year-old has established himself as an important member of both the Blues and England squads.
Mount led the Premier League with 11 goals and 10 assists this season.
The only Chelsea player to score in both games was the England midfielder.
Despite his outstanding season, he remains one of the club's lowest paid players, earning £80,000 a week.
That is expected to change if the planned takeover succeeds, since the club's value will more than double.
They also claim Mount is happy to commit his long-term future to his boyhood club, as they look to build a team around him that can compete with Manchester City and Liverpool.
