The 20 year old Manchester united skipper, Marcus Rashford has been allocated the No.
10 shirt of Manchester united for this season.
This development was later confirmed yesterday when the English forward appeared in his new shirt's number in the friendly match against Bayern Munich, a game that ended in a 1:0 defeat for Manchester united.
Since December 2017 that Zlatan Ibrahmovic left the club, no player has put the No.10 Jersey on. With this, Rashford has joined other prominent players to have put on the No.10 Jersey for the Red Devils, like Rooney, Hughes,Teddy and Van Nistelrooy.
In a statement by the Manchester united manager, Jose Mourinho, he says the decision to give Rashford the number 10 shirt is to reward the player for his meritorious service for the club since he has joined the club.
It can be recalled that, Rashford was first given the No.39 shirt when he joined the club but later given the No.19 shirt.
