Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jamie O'Hara has told Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford to join the Lillywhites.
It appears the England international has no place in manager Ruben Amorim’s struggling team, as the Portuguese have opted to leave the 27-year-old winger out of his last four matches entirely.
Amorim’s treatment of the England star has only fuelled speculation of an exit from Old Trafford.
And in a recent interview, Rashford stated that he is “ready for a new challenge," which coincided with Amorim’s decision to leave him out of United’s matchday squads.
O’Hara is hopeful that Tottenham Hotspur will make the move for Rashford.
“I’d snap your hand off for him. But I don’t think he’d sign for us. I would love him at Spurs but I just don’t think we’d be able to afford his wages,” he told talkSPORT.
“One of the big teams in Europe will have him. Bayern Munich, Dortmund, someone will pay his wages, 100 percent, PSG… He will go somewhere.”
Rashford is Manchester United’s highest-earning player with £325,000 each week, which will not be easy for Spurs to pay.
“At the end of the day, Rashford is a big name in football, so I think he will definitely still have the opportunity to go and play football somewhere,” O’Hara added.
“He needs to get out of Manchester United. It’s done, it’s over; move on. He needs to get away from it.”
