Former Chelsea goalkeeper, Rob Green, predicted the number of goals that would come from the boots of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this season.

This was after the Gabon international scored for the Blues in their 2-0 Champions League win over AC Milan on Tuesday.

Aubameyang moved to Chelsea from Barcelona over the summer and has scored three goals in his last three games.

Green said Aubamayang could be the ’20-goal-a-season striker’ the Blues have missed since Diego Costa’s departure.

Green told BBC Radio 5 Live: “Aubameyang is a quality finisher and we’ve seen that." He looks confident.

“In this team, all he has to do is time his runs and he will keep getting opportunities." If he stays on this form, he could meet that 20 goal number. "
