Leon Balogun's contract with Glasgow Rangers expires at the end of the month, and the club has confirmed that he will leave.

In 2020, Balogun joined the Gers on a free transfer.

In his debut season at Ibrox, the Nigerian international won the league title and played regularly under former manager Steven Gerrard.

"Rangers can confirm today that @LeonBalogun and @andyfirth1996 will leave the club when their contracts expire."

The Rangers stated, "Everyone at Ibrox wishes Leon and Andy well for the next step in their careers."

Last month, the 33-year-old made his final appearance for the Gers in their Scottish Cup final victory over Hearts at Hampden Park.

Last season, he made 37 appearances for Rangers in all competitions.
