Napoli and Super Eagles, forward Victor Osimhen now has a new face mask

Osimhen lost the old mask while on international duty with Nigeria last month.

The 24-year-old underwent facial surgery after colliding with Inter’s Milan Skriniar in a Serie A clash in October 2021.

Osimhen has been wearing the mask for protection since recovering from the injury.

As well as his goal-scoring heroics, the mask has made the striker more popular among Napoli and rival fans.

A number of Napoli fans recently queued up to buy the replica mask at different stores around the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

Osimhen has scored 21 goals and provided five assists across 23 league games this season.

He’s been equally decisive in the Champions League, netting four in five games as Napoli looks to make history on the European stage.
