The Super Eagles and Real Sociedad forward, Sadiq Umar has been dealt a massive blow after his club, Real Sociedad confirmed that the forward has sustained a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament.

The striker sustain the injury yesterday when playing again Getafe.

Umar could be out of action for the rest of the season as he has been diagnosed with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament, and this means he will miss the remaining 33 La Liga matches of the season.
