Morgan shared this viewpoint following Aston Villa's exhilarating 3-3 draw with Liverpool at Villa Park on Monday evening.
With the draw leaving fourth-placed Villa in a favorable position to outperform Spurs, the pressure is mounting on Tottenham.
Currently trailing Unai Emery's side by five points, Spurs have just two remaining fixtures to close the gap.
Morgan wrote: “So, with that Villa draw, Spurs MUST beat City tomorrow night or they won’t have any chance of qualifying for the Champions League.
