Ashley Young has agreed to join Everton after leaving Aston Villa as a free agent this summer, the BBC reports.
The 38-year-old is scheduled to undergo a medical on Tuesday ahead of the move.
After Young’s contract at Villa Park ran out, he held talks with Luton, and some Saudi Arabian clubs were also keen.
However, the former Manchester United star wants to continue in the Premier League.
He would be Everton’s first signing under manager Sean Dyche.
Dyche replaced Frank Lampard in January and guided the club to Premier League survival on the final day of the season.
Young has played over 700 career games for club and country and will add experience to the Everton squad.
