Chelsea have distanced themselves from reports suggesting that they are in talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar this summer transfer window.

Neymar is keen to leave PSG before the end of the summer transfer window, and he has been linked with Chelsea, Barcelona, and Manchester City.

Reports emerged on Monday that Chelsea had remained in contact with Neymar’s representatives.

However, The Guardian is now reporting that Chelsea insiders have dismissed suggestions that the Blues will make an attempt to sign Neymar this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain is demanding at least £60 million from any club that wants to sign Neymar.

Neymar’s link with Chelsea was also fueled by his positive relationship with Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino coached Neymar during his time at PSG in the past.
