Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has stated that Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are the only club that could afford their star player, Victor Osimhen, this summer.

The Daily Post reports that many European clubs are interested in signing the 24-year-old talismanic striker, who scored 26 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions last season.

According to Transfermarkt, Osimhen’s value is €120 million.

De Laurentiis believed PSG were capable of triggering the striker’s release clause.

He said Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al Khelaifi wants to send a €200 million bid for Osimhen.

“The only club that could afford Victor Osimhen is Paris Saint-Germain,” he told Mediaset.

“If Nasser Al Khelaifi wants to send in a bid of around €200 million, we wait and see what happens.”

Napoli's president, however, said he hopes to keep Osimhen at the club.
