Former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara has expressed fear over the fate of Tottenham if Harry Kane leaves this summer
Tottenham does not want to sell the England captain, having rejected a number of bids from the German giants, but it appears the Bundesliga kings are not going away.
Honorary president Uli Hoeness had claimed last week that an agreement over personal terms had been reached between the club and Kane.
He told German TV channel Sport1: “Harry Kane has clearly signalled in all conversations that his decision stands – and if he keeps to his word then we’ll get him because then Tottenham will have to buckle.”
Former Spurs midfielder O’Hara worries history could repeat itself, comparing it to when the club lost Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United if Kane goes.
“Losing Berbatov derailed Tottenham!”
“It really affected the team. That’s what worries me. If Kane goes, there’s no plan.”
