Manchester City have identified the player to sign after missing out on West Ham United captain Declan Rice.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have entered the race to sign Celta Vigo midfielder Gabriel Veiga, who is wanted by a host of clubs in Europe.
Having missed out on Rice, who is set to join Arsenal this summer, Pep Guardiola’s side have now turned their attention to Veiga.
Veiga has a £34 million release clause in his Celta Vigo contract.
The Spaniard has caught the attention of the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, and Manchester City, but Man City are now also pondering signing the 21-year-old.
