Super Eagles defender Bruno Onyemaechi is on the verge of completing a permanent transfer to Greek Super League powerhouse Olympiacos.
The 25-year-old landed in Greece on Thursday and successfully underwent medicals on Friday. Onyemaechi is expected to officially sign a three-and-a-half-year contract with Olympiacos on Monday.
As part of the deal, Olympiacos will pay Portuguese side Boavista a €2.5 million transfer fee.
Onyemaechi's journey has been impressive. He initially joined Boavista on loan from CD Feirense in 2022, a move that was later made permanent. This season, the talented left-back has showcased his skills, scoring three goals and providing one assist in 18 league appearances for Boavista.
This transfer marks another milestone in Onyemaechi's career as he looks to make his mark in Greek football with Olympiacos.
