Real Madrid winger Rodrigo will ask to leave Santiago Bernabeu if Kylian Mbappe joins the club, according to El Nacional.

The potential arrival of Mbappe has cast uncertainty over Rodrigo’s future, leading him to contemplate a departure from Real Madrid.

Rodrygo believes his playing time and role within Carlo Ancelotti’s side would likely diminish significantly if and when Mbappe joined Real Madrid.

The Brazilian international has carefully considered the potential scenario and has requested that the Spanish La Liga giants give him the freedom to negotiate with other clubs.

Rodrygo has established himself as a key player in Real Madrid’s squad.
