The Flying Eagles will step up preparations for the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup by engaging in two friendlies this weekend.



The friendlies, Naijacrawl learned, will be against local academies.

The test games, which will be played at the FIFA Goal Project Pitch, Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, are slated for Friday and Saturday.

The Flying Eagles are expected to engage in more friendlies ahead of the World Cup.

Meanwhile, all the invited foreign-based players are expected to start arriving at the team’s camp this week.

Ladan Bosso’s side will face five-time winners Brazil, Italy, and the Dominican Republic in Group D at the World Cup in Argentina.
