The reason why Brazilian youngster Endrick snubbed a move to Chelsea has been revealed.
Endrick recently turned down a move to Chelsea after reportedly agreeing on a deal to join Real Madrid.
According to The Athletic, Endrick opted against a deal to join Chelsea because his family felt the Blues were "more hesitant in committing to financial terms," with a large element of the deal said to be performance-related.
The 16-year-old, who was linked with a move to Chelsea, agreed to join Real Madrid, with the La Liga champions set to pay his €60 million release clause, with a portion of that figure being made up by bonuses and add-ons.
The forward will leave his current club, Palmeiras, in 2024.
Endrick made his senior debut for Palmeiras back in October and has already scored three times for the Brazilian club.
