France international and Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has resigned as Real Madrid coach earlier today, after calling a press conference in the Spanish capital.
Reasons for his resignation is left undisclosed as Madrid president also confirmed his resignation, in his words Florentino Perez said, "Zinedine Zidane communicated to me yesterday the unexpected decision that he will leave as coach." During the press conference Zidane said "I love this club and the president who gave me the chance to play for this club and manage the club of my dreams. But everything changes and that's why I've taken the decision to leave.What I think is that this team needs to continue winning but I think it needs a change, a different voice, another methodology and that's why I took this decision".
It is unclear who the new Madrid manager will be and where Zidane will be moving to next. The Frenchman has spent 3 seasons with the Blancos and has won 3 UEFA Champions League, 2 UEFA Super Cup, 2 Club World Cup, 1 Spanish Super Cup and 1 Liga title.
