A fan brought attention to Savage's own lyrics about gun violence by quoting the rapper's line from his most recent Drake collaboration, "Jimmy Crooks," "spin a block twice like it ain't nowhere to park," even though many Twitter users agreed with him.

A song is for entertainment; it's not a guide on how to live life, Savage countered in response to the fan.
