Bankole Wellington, a Nigerian singer, has won the PDP's primary election rerun in Lagos' Eti-Osa Federal Constituency.
Banky W won the election with 24 votes against his competitor, Sam Aiboni, who received only five votes, according to the People's Gazette.
The primary was rescheduled after a conflict between Banky W and Aiboni forced the party's leadership to intervene from Abuja.
Following that, it was agreed that a repeat would be held.
Mr. Wellington defeated Mr. Aiboni, a Lagos businessman, on the first ballot with 27 votes to two.
The party stated two days after the results that Banky W had lost the elections to Aiboni.
